Caroline moved from Brazil in order to pursue a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. She graduated from the Masters program in May 2012 and became a board certified physical therapist, then moved to NY to pursue a career in the field. 

Her physical therapy interests include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and Pilates. Before moving to the USA for her Master program, she obtained a certification in Brazil as a Pilates instructor and likes to incorporate this knowledge in treating her patients. On her free time Caroline likes to play soccer and volleyball, as well as doing yoga.

Thomas has started in the field of physical therapy first obtaining a degree as Assistant  Physical Therapist from New York University at the Rusk institute.  Later acquiring a masters degree in Physical Therapy from Mercy College. Thomas has had experience in multiple settings  providing physical therapy from acute care in Hospitals, long term rehabilitation in clinics and for the past seven years focusing on orthopaedic manual therapy.

He has had continuing education from the teachings of Brian mulligan, Geoffrey maitland and mark bookhout as well as the Neuro orthopaedic institute US.  In his spare time he enjoys running and cycling and participates in road races and biathlons.    

Sari graduated from The George Washington University with a master's of health science in Physician Assistant studies. Sari was inspired to become a PA by her Mom who is also a PA!  Sari always knew that primary care medicine was her passion. She genuinely cares about her patient's and enjoys getting to know each one personally. In addition to primary care, Sari enjoys ENT, urgent care, and travel medicine. 

Before PA school, Sari lived in San Francisco Bay area where she worked as an instructor for kids and adolescents with Autism.  Through this work, she was able to develop a compassionate work ethic which she brings to her patient care here at SMC. 

In her free time, Sari enjoy's culinary adventures through her own cooking, as well as exploring new restaurants in the city. She also loves spending time with her 5 year old dog Neff, going to Broadway shows, and taking Spin classes. 

Katarina is a New York state licensed physical therapist. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Hunter College in 2012.

Katarina specializes in treating athletes with sports injuries and other musculoskeletal conditions. Also trained as a massage therapist, she incorporates manual tissue work, such as myofascial release and trigger point therapy, with corrective exercise techniques to address movement dysfunctions and muscular imbalances. Katarina frequently attends leading sports medicine seminars, and she is trained in the McKenzie method of treating low-back and neck pain.

Katarina was a competitive soccer player in Europe during her youth, and has been involved in playing sports her whole life. She has acquired her own sports-related injuries, and has first-hand experience in recovering from injuries through physical therapy and rehabilitation. Katarina is currently involved in boxing, and trains at one of New York city’s premiere boxing gyms. She spends some of her weekends working as an EMT for a trauma hospital in the city.
